A Proven World-Class Racing Arena

This region is no stranger to the spotlight. It has successfully hosted top-tier national and international events, including the Greek Nationals and Pre-World Cups. Here, elite racing seamlessly blends with stunning nature, views of traditional villages, mouth-watering local cuisine, and endless outdoor activities.

 

The Geography of a Flying "Cauldron"
The flying area is on a massive plateau at 600–800m MSL, the area boasts intense continental conditions, ultra-low humidity, and perfect atmospheric instability. It is locked in by a long ring of peaks: Mount Voras (2,500m), Tzena (2,200m), Vermio (2,065m), Askio (2,111m), and Vitsi (2,130m). This layout creates a super-charged thermal "cauldron" workable in almost any wind direction! Get ready for screaming 6–7 m/s thermals, cloudbases soaring above 3,500m, and massive convergence lines that guarantee blistering average speeds, massive XC distances, and endless task-setting possibilities!
