Summary of the Day forecast "lower air remains, higher air switches to West"

There is a frontal zone approaching Greece and Balkans from the west with high, mid and low clouds and expected rain 200km to the west. This will switch upper wind from North to West, expected at 13.00h in our area. However the lower winds are not expected to change significantly, except the possibility to have some strong South gusts to the take off above 30kph, after 13.00h

West winds will be above the inversion of 1200-1300m visible after 13.00 at 10kph, but will gradually increase up to 20kph at 17.00.

South breeze again, at 12-15kph average, with gusts >25+ kph to the take off after 13.00h

Potential turbulence due to the west wind at 1300m above the valley and above 1800-1900 m above the mountains after 13.00h.

Convergence line is expected above 1300m in the valley from the west to the east significantly more to the south than the previous days. 

No Cu clouds expected in the area, but some Cu will be visible to Belles mountain 100km to the west ant to PAranesti area. Later in the day a high cloud will be visible from the west aproaching fast and potentially creating shadow to our area after 16.30h.

Significant breeze increase is expected after 16.00h to the landing area.
