Summary of the Day forecast "Post Frontal Conditions "

• After the front, conditions are expected good, however, as we are in a well protected area, the high humidity air after evaporation of the previous rain will not leave this area so fast and will stay with us.

• In the morning we will have the first Cu above mountains already by 10.00h

• At 12.00h there will be Cu in the valley, and above mountains we will see vertical overdevelopment.

• At 13.00h we will have Cu spreadout to the south and further development of clouds above mountains.

• Cloud coverage at 60% at 15.00h but with open/close cycles. Cloud base initially at 1500 in the valley and 2100m on the mountains, later in the day 2500m and 2700m respectively.

• After 16.00h the conditions to center of the valley seem to start declining, but up to the mountains we expect to see shower clouds to the West, South and East. Maybe we also have some showers to Vourinos mountain or Deskati. The lowest rain possibility in Kastoria. 

• Wind will be from variable directions, lower mainly from the east and higher from the west.

• High humidity, relatively weak thermals (2,5m/s) and and inversion at 1800m.  

• A playfull game between the shadow and the sun, with clouds that will not have always lift due to spreadout. 

• The day will open and close, with opportunity for a task, but tricky conditions that around 16.00h may create shower clouds above higher terrain.
