Flymaster Open 2025 Krusevo Competition Weather Forecast Sunday July 6th

Summary of the Day forecast

Krusevo is a well protected area from the weather and has its own dry micro-climate, with a dry valley in the east surrounded with high terrain. However in the North in the West and in the South of this valley we have high humidity areas with forrests and big lakes and rivers that increase local dewpoint, and can create over development conditions when the general meteo conditions are unstable.

Instability and frontal activity is expected in the Balkan area, starting from Croatia today and moving towards our area. This activity is going to escalate in the next days and will have an impact to us, exceeding the limits of protection we have from the NW mountains.

We still do not know how fast and how deep this frontal movement will be, but we will watch as when there are challenges we always have windows of opportunity for flying in the area, however safety is the best option for our sport!

For today Sunday, initially we have some rare clouds above the NE mountains from 9.00 in the morning which is not a very good sign. Until 12.00 the clouds will be much more around the west, north and less to the east of the valley. At 13.00 clouds will appear everywhere with high cloudbase >3.000. At the same time in the NW we will see Cu Congestus and a couple of Cbs in a 50km range. Other Cbs will appear from the west in the Ochrid region and the rain will appear to the direction to Bitola in the south, very close after 18.00h.

The possibility of rain to Krusevo is less than 5%
