Summary of the Day forecast "East or West Valley?"

Pre-frontal activity. The front will pass from the area during Thursday. On Wednesday, a frontal zone will very close to us north of Thessaloniki, in Bulgaria. 

The day will start with blue sky. After 12.00 we will have first clouds in the sky above high ground. At 14.00h the sky is expectred to overdevelop vertically (North and South) or horizontally in the middle of the valley. Congestus clouds are expected in Kastoria area, South of Grevena, and also to the valley of Ptolemaida in the east. 

High winds are from the SW, while lower winds will be East or South East below the inversion of 2100m.

Similar thermals, more clouds, some overdevelopment but with no rain expected in our flying area, except Servia and Olympos.

Cloud coverage expected up to 80% in the valley center while North and south we may have 100% coverage at 15.00h.

It is possible to fly from the higher North take off, as east winds will not work with the usual take off, and choose the east or west valley for the task, but we have to recheck in the morning.
