Summary of the Day forecast - "Significant NW wind with trend to increase"

A local low in our area, remains, maintaining the windy conditions from the NW, initially 15kph to the ground, but after the sun passes to the west side will increase in speed and fluctuation.

After 14.00 we expect the NW wind gusts to enhance, reaching 30kph on the ground in the landing area of Siatista. 

Gusts >30kph are expected after 15.00 and the wind trend is to further increase until 18.00h according to the forecasts.

There will be enough instability, and thermals >+2 after 12.00h, however we expect these thermals not to be well organized, but mainly broken and turbulent up to the inversion level of 2450m. 

Some rare Cu clouds will appear above Askio mountain and there will be rare clouds to the West and North west which will come closer to our area as the day evolves.

After 15.00 the conditions may become not hospitable and unpleasant due to broken thermals and mix with gusts >30kph on the surface. At the same time a convergence line is expected in the Valley from Siatista to the NW, active above 2500m.

Conditions will be better and safer on Tuesday, with lighter west winds and more clouds in the sky, but this will be updated on Monday.
